Our spiral notebooks are 6" x 8" in size and include 120 pages which are lined on both sides. The artwork is printed on the front cover which is made of thick paper stock, and the back cover is medium gray in color. The inside of the back cover includes a pocket for storing extra paper and pens.

This scratchboard is a rendition of bright and beautiful Brown-Eyed Susans from a patch in my garden. Cheerful yellow flowers in and among greens. The image was created by scratching through the black outer layer of a clayboard into white clay. The scratch marks in the white clay were then painted with clayboard inks producing the final image.
I am a scratchboard artist who has enjoyed drawing and painting throughout my life. In the fall of 2001 I was introduced to the scratchboard medium through a course at the University of New Hampshire. I took an immediate liking to this art form as it combines drawing and painting to create three-dimensional effects. Scratchboard art is very detail oriented requiring patience as well as an eye for form, light, and shadow.
