Description

Blue ink washes establish a cool mood in this snowy New England winter scene highlighting a smooth sculpted snowman in the foreground. The image was created by scratching through the black outer layer of a clayboard into white clay. The scratch marks in the white clay were then painted with clayboard inks producing the final image.
