About Robert Goudreau

Robert Goudreau

I am a scratchboard artist who has enjoyed drawing and painting throughout my life. In the fall of 2001 I was introduced to the scratchboard medium through a course at the University of New Hampshire. I took an immediate liking to this art form as it combines drawing and painting to create three-dimensional effects. Scratchboard art is very detail oriented requiring patience as well as an eye for form, light, and shadow. Scratchboard art shows my art expression the best. Member of the International Society of Scratchboard Artists (ISSA)
