Description

This winter scene shows the beauty of an historic stone-faced New England House. The day after a snow storm shows a bright blue sky producing dramatic shadows from nearby trees throughout the scene. The image was created by scratching through the black outer layer of a clayboard into white clay. The scratch marks in the white clay were then painted with clayboard inks producing the final image.
